Explore24
I’ve toyed with ways to manage Explore24 for the last month. I first dropped the 1:1 nature of the project, as it just got to be too much for me to handle given my other daily responsibilities. After the last newsletter, I chose to stop doing the big collected post because so few people actually read them. This time, I’m just going to link all the entries I’ve played since the last update right here. I will say, though, I’m still loving the narrative, and the exploration of the world and its history.

Game Development
I’m currently working on several games, including Scourge, which I mentioned in the last update. Bronze Islands, the Greek myth inspired Ironsworn-based game, has been put on hold indefinitely.
I recently finished a solo Roguelite inspired by games like Die in the Dungeon, and Slay the Spire, called Rogue Tower. I currently have it out to some friends for playtesting but will put it on my itch page as soon as I’m comfortable with its condition. For now, check out the working cover art.
I am also working on a narrative driven, merchant-focused solo game tentatively titled Dungeon Merchant. I’m not sure this will ever be released, we will see when I get it in a playable condition. I will, hopefully, be using it to play/write a novel or a series of short stories about a fledgling Merchant who is given a small stall deep within an endless dungeon. I’m testing out a new (to me at least) resolution mechanic using pools of D6s and roll-under success. It might not work, but that’s the beauty of these projects: you get to try new things.

Chattering teeth as enemies, insidious traps and a mad sorcerer you somehow pissed off await you in Night Terror. Coming mid-February from Croaker RPGs. Follow Croaker RPGs on Itch to make sure you don't miss out!
